Primary GAZT contact for the large and very large taxpayers responsible for providing active support and navigate various issues to prepare for VAT launch and beyond. Main responsibilities include and not limited to building relationships between GAZT and delegated companies and acting as a first point of contact for taxpayers for inbound and outbound communication. This involves regularly sharing information with taxpayers, coordinating taxpayer questions and addressing their concerns regarding VAT related issues, as well as guiding them in meeting VAT compliance requirements on a continuous basis.
The Relationship Manager Supervisor role requires a deep understanding of the technical and business challenges that clients face, and identifying opportunities to solve the challenges/problems. This includes managing and overseeing the work of RM Officers.

Roles and responsibilities
Answers taxpayers’ questions by:
• Listening to taxpayers’ problems
• Searching the system and provide taxpayer answers or identifying the GAZT VAT Officer most capable of providing an answer and forward the request
• Browsing taxpayers tax status from SAP TRM and explaining it to taxpayers
• Understanding the rules and regulations as they are programmed in SAP TRM
• Helping taxpayers to fill GAZT VAT electronic forms
• Proposing revisions to GAZT VAT system officers in order to remove ambiguities
• Managing and mentoring RM officers on tax and related projects
• Reviewing work prepared by RM officers and providing review comments
• Developing and help driving in-house training initiatives.
